Mentorship

Doula mentorship is a great option for those who want a more comprehensive, practical, doula training, or for those who did not feel equipped after completing a group doula training. 

Organizations such as CAPPA, DONA, DTI, etc. are not able to offer a one-on-one, customized experience, nor are they able to present you with real-time learning opportunities direct from a client. In a private mentorship, you’re able to see first hand the journey of the doula client relationship - from hire date, to birth, and postpartum. Most corporatized trainings are short, and limited in scope, offering only hypotheticals and commonly occurring circumstances.

We’ve created a tiered system to meet various needs. All options include a 30min intro zoom chat to make sure we’re a good fit, and to help you decide which option is best for you. 

Tier 1 - birthwork curious

  • Live access to group chats with clients, see first hand the challenges and questions clients encounter, and how we communicate solutions and support. There is cant be learned from a book or group training.

  • Access to our growing, client facing, digital resource folders

  • 1 zoom meetings per month, to discuss anything and everything doula (example topics)

    • $150/mo

Tier 2 - the basics

  • Invitations to group chats with clients, see first hand the challenges and questions clients encounter, and how we communicate solutions and support

  • Access to our growing, client facing, digital resource folders

  • 2 zoom meetings per month, to discuss anything and everything doula

  • +Private group chat with both doulas, to answer your questions as they come up

  • +Shadow our zoom prenatal meetings, multiple opportunities per week

  • +Referrals to client inquiries, to help you build your own client base

    • $800, 2mo package (payment plan available) 

Tier 3 - becoming a full time doula

  • Invitations to group chats with clients, see first hand the challenges and questions clients encounter, and how we communicate solutions and support

  • Access to our growing, client facing, digital resource folders

  • 2 zoom + meetings per month, to discuss anything and everything doula

  • Private group chat with both doulas, to answer your questions as they come up

  • Shadow our zoom prenatal meetings, multiple opportunities per week

  • Referrals to client inquiries, to help you build your own client base

  • +Help with your own clients - Feel free to name drop, and let them know you have two experienced doulas who can help bridge any gaps in information.

  • +Shadow us in-person during labor support whenever possible (while laboring at home, or homebirth, hospitals wont allow 2 doulas at once) 

  • + Doula training certificate

    • $2400, 3mo package (payment plan available, & sliding scale for unemployed or underemployed)

    • In this tier you should be able to AT LEAST break even, cost wise, through taking your own clients during these three months

    • Compare to: CAPPA $650-$775, 2-3 days or DTI $1697min, 4 days

    • Downsides of these trainings: Short timeline, no shadowing birth support, no client group chats, no private doula text chat, limited and often non-client facing resources, no private Q&A, no client referrals, no ongoing support as you build your business, no first hand experiences
